Women have been underrepresented in leadership roles for centuries. It is no surprise that there are a lot of stereotypes about women in the workplace that need to be broken down. The first one is that women are less competent than men and cannot do as well in their jobs, which is false because there are many successful female entrepreneurs who prove this wrong every day.
Another stereotype about women in the workplace is that they only work part-time or they work at home while raising children, which is also false because many women work full-time and have careers outside of their homes too.
